Should you duplicate the Remembrance of the Grafted? ›

Duplicating Remembrances means you can grab both rewards from a specific Remembrance in a single run if you want. But remember that there are more Remembrances than Walking Mausoleums, so you should choose your rewards wisely.

Remembrance of the Black Blade can either be traded for 30,000 Runes or handed to Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock its power. If the second alternative is chosen, the remembrance will supply the player with Maliketh's Black Blade or Black Blade Incantation.

The Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring let you duplicate Remembrances, the drops that come from shardbearer bosses, such as Astel and Rykard, which means you can get both Remembrance items.

Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen use in Elden Ring

Remembrances can be duplicated at a Wandering Mausoleum. Only one remembrance may be duplicated per mausoleum, and only one time.

Gamers that enjoy using Colossal weapons will be happy to know that one of the best remembrance weapons in Elden Ring is a Colossal Sword, Maliketh's Black Blade. However, unlike other Strength-type weapons (which Elden Ring has plenty of), this remembrance weapon also scales with Faith.

That said, each Walking Mausoleum in Elden Ring can only be used once, and there are just seven of them to be found across the map. This means that players will not be able to duplicate every Remembrance in the game, as there are 15 of them in total, and some fans may wonder which ones they should prioritize.

The Axe of Godrick scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity, and is a good Weapon for melee characters that prefer slow, but powerful attacks.

All Remembrances you have will carry over to a subsequent New Game+ run, but they can't be duplicated until you defeat that particular boss.

There are a total of 7 Wandering Mausoleums in Elden Ring. Monuments with bells will duplicate any boss remembrance. Monuments without bells will only duplicate the remembrance of a non-shard bearer boss. Each reward can only be received once per playthrough.

The only thing to be cautious of is: you can only duplicate one Remembrance per Walking Mausoleum. So choose wisely, and if you want another Remembrance duplicated, you'll need to find another Walking Mausoleum.

Additionally, the boss is weak to Frost damage, so the Hoarfrost Stomp Ash of War works an absolute treat here for decimating its health. However, since the Hoarfrost Stomp has effectively been nerfed by FromSoftware, you might want to consider taking in a weapon with Bleed damage instead.

We recommended players fight Maliketh with a melee weapon, but be sure to also equip a shield. Summoning an ash spirit will help tremendously in keeping Maliketh occupied and distracted. The most imperative item to bring to the fight is the Blasphemous Claw, a tool that is specifically used to overthrow Maliketh.

The Grafted Dragon is the better option to take as it opens up a decent off-hand weapon art that can do damage over time. It also does not have as harsh of a level requirement to use, unlike the Axe of Godrick.

Grafted Dragon is a Fist in Elden Ring. The Grafted Dragon scales primarily with Strength, Faith and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing additional Fire Damage to foes within a wide range.

Obtained. Remembrance of the Omen King is a consumable tool in Elden Ring. Can either be used by hand to gain 30000 Runes, or be given to Finger Reader Enia in exchange for either Morgott's Cursed Sword or Regal Omen Bairn.

Remembrances are worth a lot, anywhere between 20,000 and 50,000 Runes.

Why won't it let me duplicate my remembrance? ›

The Remembrance in Elden Ring cannot be duplicated because the mausoleum you are in is incompatible with the one you wish to reproduce. Mausoleums without a bell, for example, do not accept Shard Bearer memory. If you can't reproduce them, the tomb you're in isn't appropriate for the type of Remembrance you're trying.

Thankfully, there are only two Walking Mausoleums without a bell, so you'll have your pick of duplications for the most part.

It also doesn't matter if you've already used the Remembrance, either to get the runes or in exchange for its boss weapon. As long as you received it from the boss, you have the option to duplicate it once.

Fans are advised to hold off on using their duplications in this way, though, as there are many other opportunities to earn Runes fast in Elden Ring.
